Our Story

Welcome to Sheringham Acres! It's great to meet you!
 

We're Veronica and Jeff. We lived for 30+ years in Greater Vancouver, where we raised our family. Then we moved to a tiny little town called Shirley on Vancouver Island, where we created a small hobby farm and Airbnb.

During Covid, we spent a couple of years traveling throughout North America, going coast-to-coast in both Canada and the United States. We covered 39 states, 9 provinces, and over 20,000 miles! (If you're interested, you can see that adventure on our Instagram big_rv_jouney.         )

Now fast forward to 2022, when we purchased 5+ acres of raw land in the Columbia Valley and made plans to build our dream home here. After a bunch of planning and building - and really hard work - we’re happy to be able to share the experience with you. We’ve kept the name ‘Sheringham Acres’ for our Airbnb as a tribute to the property we loved in Shirley.
